About

The Heart Behind Lively

I believe meaningful change begins with feeling understood, supported, and empowered to better understand yourself and your relationships. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and the founder of Lively Wellness, LLC. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, I earned my Bachelor of Science from The Pennsylvania State University and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. I began my counseling career in intensive eating disorder treatment before expanding my work to addiction and substance use treatment after relocating to Florida in 2021. Throughout my career, I have worked with people from a wide range of backgrounds experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, emotional dysregulation, substance use, eating disorders, personality-related concerns, and co-occurring conditions. I have also held clinical leadership roles involving program development, clinical directing and oversight, collaboration, and supporting the professional growth of other clinicians. I am especially passionate about helping individuals understand their emotions, relationship dynamics, communication patterns, and ways of relating to themselves and others. I enjoy working with clients who want to explore longstanding patterns, strengthen their sense of self, and create healthier, more fulfilling relationships. My approach is strength-based, client-centered, and holistic. I particularly enjoy incorporating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), parts work, and other evidence-based approaches to support emotional regulation, behavioral insight, interpersonal functioning, and sustainable growth. Together, we may explore how certain patterns and coping strategies developed while building practical skills for responding to emotions and relationships more intentionally. Every person enters therapy with unique experiences, strengths, values, and goals. At Lively Wellness, my goal is to create a space where you can feel safe being fully yourself—where you can slow down, explore what is happening beneath the surface, and make changes that help you feel more connected, grounded, and alive.
